PR Lahore, October 8, 2025:

The Christian Lawyers Association in Pakistan (CLAP) held its General House meeting at the Session Court Library Hall, where members approved the formation of a new cabinet aimed at promoting unity, effective representation, and smooth organizational functioning.

The meeting began with a prayer led by Advocate Shamashad John, followed by the presentation of the Unification Committee’s report by Advocate Javed Gill. Members engaged in a detailed and constructive discussion on the report and other items listed on the agenda.

During the deliberations, members underscored the importance of forming a cabinet in the current circumstances to ensure the Association’s stability and collective voice. A resolution to constitute the cabinet within the General House was moved and carried by majority vote.

The newly approved office bearers are as follows:

President: Advocate Raiz Anjum

Vice President: Advocate Jawad Farhat Khokhar

Vice President (Mufassal): Advocate Sarfraz Khokhar

General Secretary: Advocate Abisaloom Robin Bhatti

Finance Secretary: Advocate Shakeel Wilson

Joint Secretary: Advocate Istiaq Gill

Press Secretary: Advocate Rauf Khan

The General House endorsed the nominations with a majority vote.
The meeting concluded with a closing prayer led by Advocate Nadeem Saleem, marking the beginning of a new phase for the Association as it works toward greater cohesion and representation among Christian legal professionals in Pakistan.
