Peshawar, May 10, 2025:

A one-day seminar titled “Responsible Youth in the Era of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Security” was held on Saturday at the hall of Saint Mary’s High School, Peshawar. The event was a joint initiative of Christian Student Fellowship Peshawar, Hum-log Peshawar, Dominican Pakistan and K2X, aimed at equipping Christian youth with knowledge about ethical technology use and digital safety.
The seminar was attended by over 100 young participants—both male and female—from various churches and denominations across the city. The program featured three engaging sessions conducted by experts from the fields of education, technology, and media.
The first session was delivered by Fr. Zeeshan, Principal of Saint Mary’s High School and Vocation Director of Dominican Pakistan. He spoke on the ethical use of artificial intelligence, urging youth to remain rooted in Christian values of honesty, truthfulness, and righteousness while embracing technology. He encouraged participants to leverage AI tools to enhance their academic and professional capabilities.
The second session was led by Dr. Amir Syed, CEO of K2X Tech Team and Assistant Professor at UET Peshawar. He discussed the immense potential AI holds for Christian youth, particularly in exploring untapped opportunities in both academic and professional domains. Dr. Syed emphasized the importance of timely engagement with AI and building competent, well-informed individuals who can thrive in the digital age.
Following Dr. Syed’s talk, Ashley Jacob, a member of the K2X Tech Team, conducted a supplementary session on artificial intelligence. She led a group activity that encouraged participants to think creatively about the practical and productive use of AI in everyday life. The interactive format helped unwrap the minds of the youth and offered real-life context to the technology’s application.
The final session was conducted by Zeeshan Yaqub, a media professional, who focused on digital security and responsible online behavior. He informed participants about common online threats and provided practical training on how to mitigate risks through proactive digital practices. He also guided participants on how to effectively respond to cyberattacks and safeguard their digital presence.
The seminar concluded with Chairman Hum-log and Secretary Board CSF Augustine Jacob expressing gratitude to all the speakers and presenting them with honorary shields in recognition of their valuable voluntarily contributions to the seminar.
