Islamabad, November 25, 2025:

The National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR) held a farewell ceremony at a private hotel in the federal capital on Tuesday, commemorating four years of expanded work in human rights protection and institutional strengthening
.
The event reviewed the Commission’s performance in monitoring human rights violations, addressing complaints, and supporting vulnerable communities, including minorities, women, children, and workers. National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq attended as the chief guest, joined by several parliamentarians.

NCHR Chairperson Rabiya Javeri Agha, along with representatives of the European Union and UNDP, praised the Commission’s increasing credibility and its role in contributing to policy and legislative improvements.

Mr. Manzoor Masih, Member Minorities at the NCHR, was among the participants at the gathering, which reflected on the Commission’s achievements and ongoing efforts to uphold human rights across Pakistan.
