Lahore — The World Tong-Il Moo-Do Federation has announced plans to establish an international martial arts school in Pakistan, aimed at promoting peace, discipline, and positive engagement among youth.
The announcement was made by the Federation’s International Chairman, Dr. Chung Sik Yong, during a one-day Tong-Il Moo-Do orientation and seminar held at Family Church, Green Town, Lahore.
Dr. Yong emphasized the role of young people as ambassadors of peace, stating that “the true purpose of life is to live for others,” and highlighting martial arts as a way to instill discipline, encourage healthy lifestyles, and protect youth from negative influences.
He further explained that the school will be developed in collaboration with the Cheonilguk Group of Companies, offering Tong-Il Moo-Do training to young people in Pakistan without discrimination of race, religion, or background.
Welcoming the initiative, Bishop Dr. M.M. Waqas praised the resilience and talents of Pakistani youth. The seminar was attended by senior leaders and around 120 participants, including Pakistan TIMD Founding President Muhammad Waseem, World Tong-Il Moo-Do Federation Secretary General Dr. G.M. Venus G. Agustin, Dr. Master Lubna Sirat, Pakistan Army Martial Arts Coach Muhammad Faiq, and other prominent figures.
According to the Federation’s vision, Pakistan aims to raise 30,000 black belts by the year 2027.
