Pakistani youth leader Luqman Ahmad Khan, Country Director for the Global Youth Innovation Council (GYIC), represented Pakistan at an international webinar focused on career development and quality education.

The event, organized by Mentoring, Insights, Navigation and Development of Students (MINDS), brought together students, educators, and young professionals from around the world. The session, titled “Career Development and Quality Education,” was moderated by Syed Muhammad Heider Abbas and Sibhgha Anwer, both experienced mentors committed to youth development.

Speaking as a guest contributor, Luqman discussed the importance of career pathways, the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern industries, and the need for innovative leadership in the 21st century. He highlighted how AI is reshaping fields such as finance, education, governance, and diplomacy, urging young professionals to adapt, learn continuously, and acquire skills relevant to emerging technologies.
In his presentation, Luqman introduced the concept of AI diplomacy, explaining how AI tools can assist in international relations by improving decision-making processes and addressing global challenges including security and economic development. He also advised students to explore career opportunities in international relations, technology, and law, stressing the importance of adaptability, self-awareness, and lifelong learning.

The session included an interactive question-and-answer segment, during which participants sought guidance on career choices, combining teaching with community development, and promoting education as a pathway to leadership.

Luqman emphasized communication skills, cultural awareness, community service, and the value of mentorship as essential tools for young people aspiring to contribute meaningfully to society.

The webinar underscored the role of youth in shaping future leadership and innovation. Organizers noted that the participation of emerging leaders like Luqman Ahmad Khan reflects Pakistan’s growing presence in global conversations on education, technology, and development.

The Global Youth Innovation Council (GYIC) works to empower young people through mentorship, innovation, and international collaboration, with a focus on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Meanwhile, MINDS provides career guidance to students, exposing them to high-impact fields beyond traditional professional choices and equipping them with skills for a rapidly changing workforce.
