Reverend Geoffrey John Peters, a Pakistani Priest of the Church of Pakistan, breathed his last on December 18, 2023, in England. He was born on August 16, 1951, his unfortunate demise at the age of 73, leaving a sorrowful family, including his wife, Dr. Katherine Peters, and five children.
The late Rev. Geoffrey was the brother of the Former Moderator of the Church of Pakistan and the current Bishop of Peshawar, Rt. Rev. Humphrey Sarfraz Peters.
His funeral took place on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Saints Clement’s Church, St. Clement’s Church, York, 15A Scarcroft Road.
The somber occasion was overseen by his brother, Rt. Rev. Bishop Humphrey Sarfraz Peters from Peshawar. The service, attended by families, friends, and clergy from across the globe, served as a poignant moment of remembrance and gratitude.
