Lahore, Pakistan (PR):
In a significant development for minority empowerment in Pakistan, the country’s first business incubator exclusively for minority communities has officially been launched in Lahore. The initiative focuses on supporting young Christian entrepreneurs by providing training, mentorship, and financial support to help transform their business ideas into viable startups.
The incubator has begun its operations with six startups, with participants coming from diverse regions including Umerkot, Hyderabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, and Lahore. The program is designed not only to foster business acumen but also to offer a platform for underrepresented communities to contribute to the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
A collaboration between the incubator and Euphoria XR, a prominent Pakistani tech company, is central to the initiative. The partnership aims to create a robust learning environment, equipping participants with essential skills in business development, marketing, sales, and strategic planning. The program also incorporates a focus on personal development and values-based leadership.
To alleviate financial pressures and ensure full participation, incubatees receive a monthly stipend covering basic expenses. The facility is equipped with modern infrastructure to promote collaboration, creativity, and innovation.
A launch event was recently held to mark the beginning of the program, attended by key religious figures including Reverend Shehzad Gill, Senior Chaplain to the Moderator/President Bishop of the Church of Pakistan and Bishop of Raiwind, and Pastor Robinson, Chairman of The Peacemakers. Both leaders offered prayers and blessings for the participants and the incubator’s success.
Mahrukh Saman Lal, one of the key figures behind the initiative, described the incubator as a step toward breaking barriers and empowering minority youth to become economic leaders in Pakistan.
The initiative represents a milestone in inclusive development, aiming to ensure that minority communities are not only part of the national business landscape but are also positioned to lead within it.
