The Pakistani Christian Community in Holland recently hosted a noteworthy conference on International Women’s Day, focusing on the challenges faced by women of faith in Pakistan. Led by Pastor Imran Gul and Anil Naeem, the event saw participation from various community members, with Pastor Nadeem Dean opening the proceedings with a prayer.

Attendees, including Sister Sumbal Noreen, Sister Gloria Peter, Sister Rubina Ghori, Sister Shamim Lawrence, Yasmin Candy, Pastor Sarfaraz, Pastor Nadeem Dean, and Mon Samuel Azim Masih, emphasized the necessity for collective action against oppression. A significant moment occurred when Sarah Gill presented a compelling petition urging the European Union to address forced religious conversions in Pakistan.

The Action Committee Holland, represented by Watson Gill, Pastor Imran, Elias Bhatti, Anil Naeem, Azeem Masih, Gaspar Daniel, Yonas Masih, Brother Henry, Aaron King, Anson Alexander, and Messi’s, pledged to promote interfaith unity and advocate for the rights of the oppressed.

The conference served as a platform for solidarity and determination, with the Pakistani Christian Community in Holland reaffirming their commitment to fostering change and advancing communal harmony.
